We love mail!
Fifty-three-year-old Margarita Gonzalez left a pleasant surprise in our mail box last week. Here’s an except from her letter:
“I love going gray for many reasons. I don’t have to color my hair every 2 weeks. I don’t have to worry about roots showing when the wind hits you from behind. My hair looks healthier than it has in the past 20 years. Now I only visit my hairdresser every time my hair needs a trim.”
“I find that for the most part, people react very well to my natural color, they find it interesting and attractive. I am delighted!”
“I could not have done this without my husband’s support. There were times when I was very close to running to the salon to color it again but he convinced me to wait it out. I have also gotten my mother, 76 to forget about dyeing her hair. She is thrilled!”
Congratulations, Margarita! This blog is alive because of people like you. May your story inspire others to do the same!

I love your hair and cut! It's all good and I can't wait until my hair grows out completely. I'm on the front end with about an inch of growth. I think I check the mirror a couple of times a day to see if it's grown more!
Wow . . .the gray is coming in so nicely on Margarita! Looks great with her tan, young skin and darker hair. Stunning . . . .
I wanted to make sure that you guys saw this feature (with pics) on grey hair on MoreMag.com. Here is the link http://www.more.com/2049/16578-stars-who-rock-gra…
Have a good evening!
And since I couldn't seem to spell "gray" correctly in the above comment, I guess that means that my gray matter has ceased to function…
I just started my own blog chronicling my transformation to gray. I'm excited! I'm thrilled to have found this blog for encouragement and moral support!
Do most women color the hair down there (as well as above), or just leave it alone? I am a 45 yr old woman with a few gray and curious. I know there is a product Brown Betty out there but don't know whether its any good.
My 1st gray hair showed up in 7th grade. I was "salt & pepper" by 30 and at 51 it's all "Silver."
NOW it's in vogue? And here I was about get some of that Greek stuff that turns it shoe-black in 7 days!
…am I ever glad I found your blog!
