Certainly a good message. I went short during transition. Now have salt & pepper bob. I'm in my 40's & around here, most my age have med. to long hair. So many bobs & modified bobs amongst my friends. The ones who wear it short have done so for years, (w/color.) In fact, the 3 I know w/pixie cuts all dye it jet black! Women 55+ wear it short & gray. Frankly, it was the short length that didn't feel natural to me, personally. The gray feels perfectly natural!

Granted, I understand why so many cut it when it's gray. It's wavier & less manageable, even w/extra conditioning. The sleek look that came naturally years ago requires product! The only reason any of this matters is because a current cut is a must w/gray. And sleek, flat hair happens to be in. Once "big hair" comes back, my styling issues will be gone. lol
