sexy grandma!Originally uploaded by moon angel
I just read a fascinating article about sex and the boomer woman (http://www.babyboomernews.com/boomer_women_sexuality.html). It seems that the majority of women polled said that physical intimacy was more important than financial security or good health. Yet, just as many women admitted that the level and quality of their sex lives wasn’t up to par.
We’ve already established that women are just as sexy (if not sexier!) after 40 than their younger, less experienced sisters. But physical or relationship issues may need to be addressed, and after years of fighting the good fight for women’s rights—now is not the time to be passive ladies!
Don’t underestimate the importance of your sexual health and well-being. After all, it’s a part of who you are and what makes you happy!

I’m over 40 (and gray for over 10 years now), but I am not a Boomer by any stretch of the imagination. Remember that Gen X is out here too!
Hi RP,
Thank you for your comment. I am also a 40 something Gen X gal.
The Going Gray blog enjoys a mixed bag of readers who vary in age, ethnicity and culture. This blog also brings together a group of extraordinary readers who have one thing in common: Gorgeous gray hair (or they are comtemplating having gorgeous gray hair) As such, Going Gray has evolved into a place where each reader can share their unique experiences, life history, triumphs, concerns, thoughts and struggles. The exchange and learning that takes place on this blog is really something to be appreciated. It is exciting to think that we can all learn from one another and be enriched by life experiences that are not our own. I am thankful for all of our Gen X readers who contribute to the discussion and bring a different perspective to going gray. You make this blog a rich place to visit!
That said, my hope is that you will view the subject matter in this post applicable to all women. And I just love the image! It reminds me of pictures my father took of my mother while they were on their honeymoon in 1954. Those were the days when real style was in!
