Seriously, the first thing you notice about this picture is not that she’s got gray hair. The first thing you notice is that Jamie Lee Curtis is smokin’ hot, and naked in a swimming pool. But after a minute, you realize—“Hey! Jamie’s hair is gray!…and HEY! She’s on the cover of AARP Magazine?!”
It’s true, and it’s also a perfect representation of the modern middle-aged woman. This ain’t your grandma’s gray hair, ladies. Boomers and premature gray ladies embrace a two-fold philosophy: 1. Natural beauty is real beauty, and 2. Sexy is as sexy does. This philosophy transfers across age boundaries, cultures and personal style.
Looking better than most women half her age, Jamie Lee Curtis looks more like she’s ready to spend her retirement globe-trotting and attending fashion shows than raking her yard or baking cookies. And really, doesn’t that sound like a lot more fun, anyway?
